- Jet boat rides in New Zealand
- Fishing for piranha on the Amazon in Brazil
- On safari in Zimbabwe with canoeing on the Zambezi River
- Snorkeled with the humpback whales in Tonga and heard them sing
- A day of heli-skiing in the Canadian Rockies
- Snorkeled with the whale sharks in the Philippines
- Flew dogfights and stunts with Fighter Combat International
- Drove a NASCAR car on the Nashville International Speedway
- Went on my first tandem skydive in Franklin County
- Self-guided cycling tour in Spain (near Barcelona)
- Went indoor skydiving at Paraclete in Fayetteville
- Flew on a restored B-25 WWII bomber in Fayetteville
- Camel rides in Egypt and India
- Went on an ultralight flight (like a hang glider with an engine) over Victoria Falls in Africa
- Snowmobiling in the Rocky and Wasatch Mountains out west
- Dolphin encounter in Bermuda (swimming with the dolphins)
- Beginner hang gliding experience at Jockeys Ridge on the Outer Banks
- Zip lines in the USA and Honduras
- Segway tours (including offroad ones) in the USA and New Zealand
- Game park tours in India to see tigers in the wild
- Cave tubing in Belize
- Elephant ride in Thailand
- Hot air balloon rides in NC and New Mexico
- Whitewater rafting in NC and West Virginia
- Snowboarding lessons in Idaho and New Mexico
